Chief Compliance Officer
Anantha Raman is Chief Compliance Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank, responsible for the bank’s compliance framework, regulatory adherence and governance standards. He previously served as Head of Internal Audit and has over 30 years of experience at leadership roles in financial services, specializing in Retail Liabilities & Assets Businesses, Product & Process Management.
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Anupam Kaura is President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank, leading organizational transformation and talent strategy. He has held senior HR roles at CRISIL, IDFC Bank, Citi, AXA and PwC and was Global CHRO at CRISIL, where he led talent management and culture transformation. Anupam holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Delhi and a Master’s in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Head – Innovation & AI
Vijay Narayanan is a seasoned technology and innovation leader with over 25 years of experience across global enterprises such as Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Medscape WebMD, and Merrill Lynch. He has led large-scale engineering, cloud, API, and platform modernisation programs, building next generation technology ecosystems for high growth organizations.
As Head of Innovation & Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vijay plays a strategic role in shaping the Bank’s innovation agenda and technology modernisation roadmap. He leads efforts to strengthen core IT engineering capabilities, advance modern platform architectures, and drive adoption of cutting‑edge technologies across businesses and channels.
At Kotak, Vijay has led several key initiatives—including enhancements of Bank’s physical distribution network and critical software platforms. A major achievement under his leadership is the successful deployment of the Transaction Authorisation System (TAS) across the branch network, significantly improving operational control and customer service. He also spearheads the development and governance of the Bank’s AI strategy, ensuring responsible and scalable enterprise adoption.
Head – Internal Audit
Ashish Athalaye is Head of Internal Audit at Kotak Mahindra Bank, overseeing internal audit, governance, risk management and compliance. With over 21 years at Kotak in audit and vigilance, he previously worked at Deloitte in auditing and financial risk management. Ashish is a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Internal Auditor.
Company Secretary
Avan Doomasia is Company Secretary at Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, overseeing the Corporate Secretarial function and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and governance norms. Prior to joining the Bank, she was the Company Secretary of Tata Capital Limited and Tata Capital Financial Services Limited, and has also worked with CEAT Limited and Tata Motors.
She is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Law and Commerce Graduate. She brings over 3 decades of rich and varied expertise in corporate secretarial, governance and regulatory compliance.
Group Chief Financial Officer
Devang Gheewalla is Group Chief Financial Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank, responsible for Group Finance, Taxation, Strategy, Investor Relations and Operations. Over 21 years with Kotak, he has served as Internal Audit Head and Financial Controller for over a decade and played a key role in the acquisition and integration of ING Vysya Bank. Earlier, he was Associate Director at KPMG India. Devang is a Commerce graduate, a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant.

Manish Agarwal is President and Business Head – Kotak811 at Kotak Mahindra Bank, responsible for a tech‑first, end‑to‑end digital banking proposition. He previously led the Non‑Resident Indian business. Earlier, he worked at ICICI Bank, spearheading the ‘India SME Toolkit’ with IBM and the World Bank and began his career at SIFY in web solutions. Manish holds an Economics degree and an MBA in Marketing and completed the Senior Management Program in Leadership Development at IIM Ahmedabad.
Head – Commercial Banking
Manish Kothari is Head of Commercial Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank, overseeing Agri Business – MSME & Corporates, Rural Finance – Tractor & Crop Loans, Logistics and Infrastructure – CV, CE Loans and Working Capital, Microcredit and Gold Loans. He previously led Corporate Banking, scaling advances, revenues and reach. With nearly 30 years at Kotak and over 15 years in the Key Leadership Team, he holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from XLRI.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Nilesh Chaudhari is a veteran technology leader with 30 years of experience across global and Indian financial institutions, driving large‑scale transformation and engineering excellence in over 20 countries.
As Chief Technology Officer of Kotak Mahindra Bank, he oversees enterprise architecture, engineering, infrastructure, information security, data platforms, and emerging technologies. He is building a resilient, scalable, customer‑centric technology landscape aligned with Kotak’s growth and regulatory needs.
He champions AI, cloud, open banking, APIs, and advanced analytics to elevate customer experience and operational efficiency, while also shaping the bank’s technology talent strategy and agile culture.
Since joining Kotak in October 2024, he has led critical transformation across Wholesale, Consumer and Commercial Bank, Treasury, Gift City, and enabling functions. His prior roles include senior technology leadership positions at Barclays, JPMorgan, and IDFC First Bank.
An engineering graduate from the University of Poona, Nilesh is recognised for strategic vision and execution discipline, and is a frequent contributor to industry discussions on digital transformation and the future of banking technology.
Head – Kotak Private Banking
Oisharya Das heads the Private Banking business at Kotak Mahindra Bank and is part of the Group Management Council. She has played an important role in building the business in India and overseas, previously serving as National Director, where she led client relations and established the non‑resident business. She began with Kotak in 1994, led private client services for the east at Kotak Securities and subsequently oversaw the North, East and West regions for Private Banking. Oisharya holds a graduate degree in Political Science, a Masters in International Relations and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
Head – Distribution, Consumer Bank
Pranav Mishra is President and Consumer Banking Head – Distribution and Transformation at Kotak Mahindra Bank, leading integrated distribution across branches, digital and voice channels for an omni‑channel experience. Previously at ICICI Group, he led key verticals in Wholesale and Retail Banking and served as Chief Distribution Officer at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. Pranav holds an MMS and a BSc in Mathematics and completed a finance program at Duke University.
Head - Treasury
Rajiv Mohan is President and Head of Treasury & Global Markets at Kotak Mahindra Bank, with leadership across fixed income, forex, derivatives and balance sheet management. He began with Kotak in the mid‑1990s at Kotak Mahindra Finance and Kotak Investment Banking and is part of the Senior Management Personnel group. Rajiv holds a B.Tech from HBTI Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
Chief Marketing Officer, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Head - Business Banking
Rohit Bhasin drives a purpose-led strategy for the bank’s marketing & communication to enhance the Bank’s brand and reputation. He drives the strategic growth and profitability of the bank’s business segment through innovative financial solutions tailored to business clients. Rohit has formerly worked at Unilever for over 2 decades where he held various leadership positions in product management, marketing, and digital transformation. Rohit has received numerous prestigious marketing awards throughout his career. He is a post-graduate from the prestigious Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.
Group General Counsel
Somanahalli (SK) Honnesh is Group General Counsel at Kotak Mahindra Bank, overseeing Legal, Secretarial and Compliance across the Group and strengthening governance and risk management. Previously Group General Counsel at Piramal Enterprises for nearly 12 years, he led strategic transactions, fund‑raises and platforms like IndiaRF and earlier served at Reliance Industries. A graduate of NLSIU Bengaluru, he is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
Chief Risk Officer
Srishti Sethi is Group Chief Risk Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank, responsible for strengthening enterprise‑wide risk governance and embedding a proactive risk culture. She previously served as CRO at Hero FinCorp and IDFC FIRST Bank and led ERM at IDFC Bank and global operations & risk at Bank of America’s GDC. Srishti holds a degree in Mathematical Statistics from LSR and a PGDBM in Finance and is a CISA and CRISC.
Head – Products, Consumer Bank
Vyomesh Kapasi is Head of Products – Consumer Bank at Kotak Mahindra Bank, leading customer‑centric, digital‑first product strategy across liabilities, consumer assets, investments and insurance and Group‑wide initiatives. Previously MD & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Prime (2016–2025), he has held senior roles across Kotak’s lending businesses since 1994. Vyomesh graduated from H.A. College of Commerce, Ahmedabad.
