From launching Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. in 1985 to becoming one of the country’s most trusted financial institutions today, it’s been quite a journey.

Managing Director & CEO
Ashok Vaswani is the Managing Director & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank. With over 35 years of global banking experience, he has held leadership roles at Citigroup, Barclays and Pagaya Technologies. At Barclays, he led the transformation from analog to digital, redesigning tech architecture and customer journeys. He was CEO of Barclays UK and later of its Global Consumer, Private, Corporate and Payments businesses. At Citigroup, he served as CEO Asia Pacific. He also served as President of Pagaya, scaling its AI fintech operations. Ashok has served on boards including LSEG, VISA and SP Jain Institute. He supports philanthropic causes like Pratham and Lend‑A‑Hand. He holds degrees in Commerce, is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and has completed Executive Education from Stanford.
Executive Director - Whole-time Director
Jaideep Hansraj is Whole‑time Director at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he oversees the Affluent segment and HR and leads the ‘One Kotak’ collaboration agenda. Previously, he was MD & CEO of Kotak Securities, driving digitization and innovation. Earlier, he held leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra International and built the Bank’s Wealth Management portfolio. Jaideep joined Kotak in 1993 and has risen through the ranks.
Whole Time Director
Paritosh Kashyap serves as Whole‑time Director at Kotak Mahindra Bank, bringing over three decades of expertise in capital structuring, financing and securitization. He previously led Wholesale Banking as Group President & Head, driving growth across Corporate Banking, Structured Finance and Infrastructure Financing. Paritosh is also a Non‑Executive Director on the boards of Kotak Mahindra Investments Limited and Kotak Infrastructure Debt Fund Limited. He is also a Director on the Board of Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd. A Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant, he was recognized as “CA Business Leader” by ICAI in 2024.
