How to Apply:

Kotak Smart EMI Card is available for select Kotak Mahindra Bank customers and new-to-bank Customers (Not a Kotak Mahindra Bank customer)

If you are an existing Kotak Mahindra Bank customer:

1. Log in to your Kotak Mobile Banking App
2. Go to the Cards section on the Home screen and tap on the Smart EMI Card icon
3. You will be able to see your pre-approved credit limit and the card joining fee
4. Select your Kotak Bank Account and pay the Smart EMI Card fee
5. You will receive the physical card at your registered address within 15 days

How to Activate your Kotak Smart EMI Card:

Set your Smart EMI Card PIN:

1. Log in to the Kotak Mobile Banking App
2. Go to Service Request  >  Debit Card / Spendz Card
3. Tap on PIN Generation

Or

Set Card PIN

Activate Ecomm Flag for online transactions:

1. Log in to the Kotak Mobile Banking App
2. Go to Service Request  >  Debit Card / Spendz Card
3. Tap on Card Controls
4. Select your Smart EMI Card at the top
5. Enable the ECOM / Online flag to start making online transactions on your card

How to view your virtual Smart EMI Card:

1. Log in to the Kotak Mobile Banking App
2. Go to Cards >  Debit Card / Spendz Card
3. Tap on Debit Card Overview
4. Enter your MPIN to view your Smart EMI Card details

How to Shop with your Smart EMI Card:

Make sure you have set the card PIN and enabled the Ecomm Flag for your card.

 Online Purchases:

1. Add the product to the cart (minimum amount of Rs 3,000)
2. Go to the EMI section on the checkout page
3. Select Kotak Bank Debit Card EMI
4. Enter your Smart EMI Card details
5. Choose the EMI tenure you prefer
6. Enter the OTP you receive on your registered mobile number and complete the transaction

(You can even add your Smart EMI Card directly in the Partner’s checkout page and choose the EMI plan.)

In-Store Purchases:

1. Please let the cashier at store know about your Kotak Smart EMI Card
2. The cashier will swipe your card and enter the amount
3. Choose the EMI tenure you prefer
4. Enter your card PIN to complete the transaction

How to check the available credit limit on your Smart EMI Card:

Send this SMS: DCEMI<space> <Last 4 digits of Card Number> to 5676788

Log in to your Kotak Mobile Banking App and tap on the Consumer Durable Loan icon in the Loans section on the Home screen

How to check your previous Consumer Durable Loans:

1. Log in to your Kotak Mobile Banking App
2. Tap on the Consumer Durable Loan icon in the Loans section on the Home screen
3. You will be able to see your available credit limit, previous loans and their status
