The following are the benefits of using a FASTag:

1) FASTag is an electronic toll collection system, operated by the NHAI. It consists of a sticker with RFID that gets read by the tag reader at the plaza and the toll amount gets deducted automatically for the linked wallet. This replaces cash transactions thus saving on time taken to exchange cash.

2) FASTag is now a mode of payment at select parking lots across the country. This results in quicker payments at parking lots.
